Adam Howell

CrossFit Manager/Coach

CF Level 1 Trainer

Adam has been CrossFitting for over two years at the LAC.  As a college football player, Adam benefits greatly from the intensity and competition involved in the CrossFit method.  Adam has competed in local CrossFit-style competitions.  For Adam, CrossFit is a family affair.  Adam’s wife, Liz competes at local competitions and his children do CrossFit WODs for their physical education as they are homeschooled.  Adam is currently a Club Manager at the LAC and a student at Southern Seminary working on a Ph.D. in Old Testament languages.

Coach Tim has been an athlete since early elementary school, playing basketball, baseball, and football. Tim has a background in Brazilian jiu jitsu, mixed martial arts and experience as a professional fighter. Tim completed his CrossFit Level 1 Trainer Course in Chicago more than a year ago. He currently attends the University of Louisville studying Health and Human Performance with a stack in Exercise Science.  He plans to continue school and earn his Master’s Degree in Exercise Physiology with a major in Strength and Conditioning.

Tiffanie has been training with CrossFit style workouts for almost a year now.  As an All-American basketball player, she loves the competitive nature and team atmosphere that the CrossFit model instills in athletes.  The extreme workouts keep you from getting bored and constantly challenge your body to compete at a higher level.  Tiffanie is currently the Personal Training Manager at LAC and received her undergraduate degree in Communications and completed a Masters degree in Organizational Leadership while playing basketball at Gonzaga University.  Tiffanie helped lead Gonzaga to the Sweet 16 during her senior season.  Tiffanie’s passion is to help others achieve their fitness goals and to form lasting relationships.

Karen Lawyer

Mobility Coach

Karen is a certified personal trainer and our yoga guru at CrossFit 927.  Karen’s exercise background includes spinning, weight-training, Pilates, Yoda, and Martial Arts.  With over 20 years of experience in the fitness industry, Karen has competed in both bodybuilding and yoga.  Flexibility, strenght, and core are the areas Karen targets through yoga and isometrics.  According to Karen, true strength springs from the core, proper body mechanics, and mobility in the primary joint hinges.  Join Karen on Tuesday and Thursday nights at 7:00pm and Saturdays at 10:30am to increase your flexibility and strength.
